The honeymoon
Then our honeymoon took
us up to Toronto Canada for another 3 days where we toured the city and
enjoyed a medieval theater and Wild Animal Safari. Click on
each thumbnail for a larger picture. Use your BACK button to return to

| First
we went to view the CN (Canada National) Tower which is the tallest
free standing structure (non-building) in the world. Here I am at
the base of it. Jim had to take this picture laying on his back. |
Then
we went all the way up to the observation deck on it. Here I am in
front of one of the windows. |

view from the top of the CN Tower. |
 |
 |
| Here
you can see the reflection of the tower's shape on the ground below. |
They
had an area of the floor made out of glass 6 inches thick. It could
support the weight of two elephants. Here I am standing on the glass
and this is the view from where I am looking down through the floor. |
 |
 |
| Then
We went up another 37 stories above the main observation deck to the
"Skypod" which is a very narrow tower that has an external
cage around it so you can go OUTSIDE. Here I am in the Skypod. What
a view! |
Here
is Jim in the Skypod. You can feel the tower moving somewhat in the
wind up here as it's fairly windy. It was somewhat hazy this day so
we couldn't see as far as was possible which could have been sa much
as 85 miles. |
 |
 |
| After
the CN Tower we went on an open Bus Tour of the city. Here is a view
of the famous Casaloma Castle through the top of the bus. |
Here
I am on the Bus at Casaloma. You could get off the bus anywhere on
the tour and catch a later bus to continue on but we didn't do that. |
 |
 |
| Here
is the best view we could get of Casaloma. It was built by an
eccentric millionaire not too far back. |
Here
I am under one of Toronto's famous statues called The Fans. |
 |
 |
| Then
after the bus tour we went on the boat portion of the tour where we
were able to drift through the various 13 islands that line the
Toronto Harbor. |
Here
is the Toronto City Skyline from the other side of the harbor. |
